Lauren was born and raised just outside of Seattle Washington. Her passion for art started at a young age. Lauren has always been a multifaceted artist & someone interested in helping others. After two years of running her charcoal portrait business, she expanded her outreach, applied for an apprenticeship, and immediately fell in love with tattooing.

She moved to Michigan after tattooing 9 months in upstate NY and worked for a few different shops locally.
Lauren is the proud owner of Monaree Ink Body Art Studio, in Brighton, Michigan, specializing in B&G realism. She is a member of the Ink Envy Pro-Team, an award winning tattoo artist, and has art and tattoo work published in literary journals/magazines.

Down the road, she would like to expand to color realism as well.

Almost 6 years into this journey, Lauren has loved every moment of it. Her kids Chloe, Ryan, and Harmony are her every day inspiration, as is her husband Billy, whom she now has the absolute joy of working with every day — none of this possible without their love and support.
She is excited to continue to travel/guest spot and plans on joining the convention circuit soon, but her goal list is ever growing.
